ACCUPLACER
The Accuplacer is given at some colleges once a student has been admitted. It helps the college determine which courses a student should take. The test covers reading, mathematics, writing, and language-use skills.
The test is given by computer at the college. All questions are multiple choice, except an essay. The test is not timed.
The Accuplacer includes:
- Sentence Skills: 20 questions
- Reading Comprehension: 20 questions
- Arithmetic: 17 questions
- Elementary Algebra: 12 questions
- College-Level Math: 20 questions
- Written Essay
